No you can't copy and paste, as it is a .gif. Another spambot security measure and it makes the human element have to do a bit more. Sorry for the inconvenience but until they come out with more Mods ; This is the best I can do to keep spambots off the site and slow the human element. It is case sensitive. Write it down as you see it and enter it in the appropriate box on the registration page. I will be changing the code every so often and putting it in different places. Once registered you will not need the code again unless you try to register under another IP, username and email. Which you will if you are a human spammer and I ban your IP, Email and Username as well as delete your profile from the database. One cannot get rid of Spam totally. There are those who insist on getting their website URL in the memberslist so they get higher search rankings or the occasional click. I delete these from the database as well, but many who post the garbage do not care their efforts are in vain. Most are paid to post and so they do so without any thought of just how little time their post will be on the site. With but one Mod that basically is directed at Spambots there will be the occasional human Spammer. Eventually they will come out with Mods that will make their efforts useless as well. Till then I will be online daily to remove these objectionable posts and delete them from the members list. Enter the forum Here: Don't forget your registration code. My Qualifications I just wanted to say that I am looking forward to what is said here as much as anyone. I have had my share of small businesses and some have done well and others failed. I started out my entrepreneurial life at 5 years of age mowing neighbors lawns. At the age of 9, I graduated to a paper route and at 13 was an independent contactor doing clean-up after races at the drags with my dads pick-up truck. At 18 I bought working shares in a co-op plywood mill. At 20 I quit and went to college major in law enforcement and took some business classes. I was a cop for all of 4 months. Not my cup of tea, and at 22, I bought my own semi truck and trailer and contracted to a couple of companies to long haul refrigerated produce and meat. At 30 I started an equipment trailer sales business with my father. Sales were slow and we eventually gave up on it. At 32 I sold my truck and trailer and bought a dozer, backhoe, dumptruck and I kept one of the equipment trailers to pull things around with. I had my own excavation business and was beginning to do quite well, till I was 36 and my health went south. I lost the business but I had invested in real estate and I had just enough rental income to survive. Since then I have worked with the wife in her business, Tamicraft, and have been trying to make the internet pay me some money. We started selling on Ebay then eventually wound up with vintageslips4u.com, which is the wife's show, but I do all the web stuff. Since my health went downhill I have been at this computer most every day trying one thing or another. Did day-trading for a while and made some money but it took a lot of time doing the research and after a few months I gave it up as it was getting in the way of family and other things. We spent most of what we had to pay off bills and mortgages. I was going to go back to it this year (2008) trading penny stocks, but the wife decided to really put some effort into getting Tamicraft off the ground and I figured It was my obligation to do what I could for her, as she has done so much for me. At any rate I am still at this computer day in and day out building web pages to try and make some money off ads and to help people who have children with Cerebral Palsy, a cause I sort of took upon myself when I found so many had the same problems I did finding information. The Cerebral Palsy site will be years to complete as I want to have every State, County and School listed along with advocacy sites and relevant information. I do what I can to help the wife grow her business and am hoping one day she succeeds. Meanwhile I have gotten a few digital rights things I sell, and I wrote a trilogy while I was laid up and have that for sale. I'm hoping to have it edited and then place it with a publisher if I can find the funds. We went from a good middle class income to poverty level almost overnight and we are struggling to make ends meet.
I have also committed to giving 10% of any earnings from my websites to charity, specifically those therapy units that deal with children with disabilities as my daughter has Cerebral Palsy. So I plod along looking for opportunities and that is why this Forum holds such great interest to me. Having had several small businesses. I know the ins and outs of the brick and mortar business, but am just now delving into the online biz-ops. I find many to be frauds and most just take your money giving nothing but false hope in return. Till then ads pay for the sites and the wife may actually pull it off with her embroidery business here locally. I doubt it will sell online as people want to actually see and feel samples before they commit. My goal is just to keep things going smoothly and perhaps in time find a biz-op that is for real or go back to day-trading. I did OK in that at one time and think I could do so again. I just do not have the seed money I once had, so will have to start off in penny stocks and that is a huge risk. Like many though, I have been burned by a lot of these online gimmicks so am reluctant to invest more than time. Money being as short as it is. Perhaps I will find a golden nugget in the forums and then again maybe just a few pennies in the ad revenue. Who knows. I have lost a considerable amount to the scams out there and am very reluctant to invest any more. I look forward to seeing what people have to say in the forums. The only place I won't delete the ads (provided they do not infringe on the TOS and are not product ads) is in the Advertising Your Business section. and the Advertising your Biz-Ops section. There is a difference and if you can't figure it out do not be surprised if your ad was deleted. All other sections are for discussion ONLY. NO exceptions!

Under recipes you will find diabetic recipes and German recipes and home cooking and possibly more. Robert enjoys gardening and has some tips and tricks to share. And of course I like crafts so here you will find free patterns, Things to make with your kids or stuff for you to make for yourself or as gifts. Under biz-ops you will find a link to one of our other sites which will go into detail of some of the best we have found and information of what to watch out for. Some free some paid. Robert wrote a Science fiction Trilogy some while back and here he sells his e-books. Book 1 is 237 pages and 135,000 + words in PDF format available for download. Each book in the Trilogy can stand on its own but by far the one most capable of doing so is Book 1. If you were to only purchase book 3 you would find you need that prologue to know what the story is really about. Right now only book 1 is for sale as 2 & 3 are being edited prior to getting copyrights. Book 1 has copyrights though it too is being edited prior to publishing. Here you get the unedited version. Web related tech stuff is just a bunch of things Robert has found while building the sites and some information he has gathered in his search for his own needs. In the course of our attempts to advocate for our daughter and upon hearing of the same troubles others have had doing the same we decided to use some web space and try to do something about it. We want very much to be able to provide relevant information for every locality across the country so that people seeking information do not have to spend days in search of the information they need. We would welcome any help you could give us. Any links you can supply for either .gov's or private agencies that provide for or advocate for the Disabled would be appreciated. My daughter has Cerebral Palsy. I do
not say this for sympathy. I have created a site devoted to helping
people with disabilities find resources they need to navigate DSHS,
DDD, SSI and others including the school system. What I need from you
is to let people with disabilities know of the site and get them to
send me information of their local and State agencies that fulfill the
needs of the disabled. I want to make this information available to
all for free on my site. I just need the help of either a person with
a child having cerebral palsy or any disability or a concerned person
who can donate their time to help seek out this information of
advocacy groups for the disabled. I am spending what time and
resources I have but I need help. Please check out the site and if you
